2023 NetworkHer Code of Conduct

At myNetworkHer, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants. The following code of conduct outlines the standards of behavior we expect from mentors, mentees, and anyone involved in our platform:

  1. Respect and Inclusivity: Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and empathy, regardless of their background, identity, or experiences. Embrace diversity and inclusivity, and refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or derogatory language.

  2. Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions. Communicate and engage in a respectful manner, both online and offline, ensuring that conversations remain focused on professional growth and learning.

  3. Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals involved in the mentorship program. Do not share any personal or sensitive information without explicit consent from the concerned parties.

  4. Honesty and Integrity: Be honest, transparent, and accountable in your interactions. Avoid misrepresentation or providing misleading information. Uphold the highest ethical standards and avoid conflicts of interest.

  5. Appropriate Use of Platform: Utilize the myNetworkHer platform for its intended purpose of mentorship and professional development. Do not engage in any activities that may disrupt the platform, violate its terms of service, or compromise the security and privacy of other users.

  6. Support and Encouragement: Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Offer constructive feedback and guidance to mentees, and provide encouragement and motivation. Mentors should be approachable, understanding, and responsive to mentees' needs.

  7. Reporting and Addressing Concerns: If you witness or experience any violations of this code of conduct, promptly report them to the myNetworkHer administrators. Complaints will be taken seriously, and appropriate actions will be taken to address the issue.

  8. Continuous Learning: Maintain a growth mindset and actively seek opportunities for personal and professional development. Encourage open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and ongoing learning within the myNetworkHer community.

By participating in myNetworkHer, you agree to adhere to this code of conduct. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the platform or other appropriate consequences, as determined by myNetworkHer administrators.
