We are so excited to announce the myNetworkHer blog, a platform for our high school blog writers and guest writers to discuss recent news, their opinions and resources.
We are so excited to share this new feature with you all, and we cannot wait to allow this platform to be an amplifier.
For those new to myNetworkHer...
Created by two 15 year olds, myNetworkHer is a youth-powered mentorship platform that empowers the next generation of industry change-makers.
With CEOs, aerospace engineers and more, myNetworkHer's easy to use booking platform connects volunteer-based fem-identifying professionals in STEM with public high schools as speakers and fem-identifying high school students as mentors ... and all for free.
For Who?:
Mentorship Program: People in grades 9-12 who identify as non-binary, female or a part of any other gender-marginalized community.
Why:
Many students feel less confident or feel like they are a step-backward from others because they are not connected with real people in the STEM industry or do not have mentors that can continuously support them in their goals, this program not only allows High School students to have a leg-up in networking but also fem-identifying folks in STEM will be able to convey their expertise to those who would usually not be able to come by it. This platform connects fem-identifying folks in STEM with public High Schools, allowing High Schoolers to be an audience to excellent advice and direction.
